The Sacred Web Tarot Deck & Guidebook Review

The Sacred Web Tarot Deck & Guidebook is a new arrival, weaving together a few spiritual  topics, through the lens of tarot, creating something very unique.

This deck uses astrology, gemstones, yoga, and the sacred sound of mantra to emphasize the tarot cards’ meanings.

Personally, I love using tarot alongside yoga and other spiritual practices. It’s a way to create a ritual that’s tailored to your needs. So, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review this deck.

The Sacred Web Tarot Deck & Guidebook comes together in a sturdy box.

Inside the box, a full sized guidebook is layered over 79 cards (78 gender-neutral cards and a special 79th card).

Whenever I get a new deck, I always go through each card individually. As I began to do so with this deck, I noticed the cards were out of order, which gave me a good challenge to figure out what I was looking at.

The names of these cards differ from traditional tarot, taking on some of their own energy. I find it to be interesting and fun to see the fusion.

As I was further along flipping through the cards, I began to really feel the intention behind them. They use symbolism in a unique way that leaves room for reflection.

Physically, the cards themselves are a bit delicate. The card stock is thin and the corners could be easily damaged. They’ll need to be handled with care while shuffling.

The guidebook is a good size, and while flipping through it, I immediately noticed many creative interpretations wandering from traditional tarot and more into a melody of spiritual practices and esoteric connections.

While using the cards in my personal practice, I found myself turning to the guidebook more often than usual, and recognized that this deck is a great opportunity to have a new relationship with tarot cards.

The guidebook is wonderfully done. Each card description gives esoteric nuggets to ponder on. There’s a lot of intention behind this deck, and the guidebook does a great job of making that clear.

I love the mantras that have been created for each card. It’s clear there’s been a great amount of thought, experience, and intention that has gone into the creation and execution of this deck & guidebook.

Overall, this deck & guidebook offer something new. There’s a marriage of spiritual practices that are woven together into The Sacred Web.

If you’re interested in tarot and are looking for a new perspective on it, I recommend this deck. I look forward to using it more myself.
