The Wild Unknown Tarot has long been a favorite Tarot deck of mine.
It’s one of my most used decks and one of the first ones I began using on my own Tarot journey.
I love how different it is from the style of Rider-Waite-Smith and Thoth (two more commonly copied styles of decks).
The Wild Unknown takes symbolism, nature, the elements, and Kim Krans’ unique style of art to create a mystical companion for anyone who’s looking to travel into the unknown corners of their own life.
When I was informed that there was a pocket sized version of this deck coming out, I was thrilled and grateful to get my hands on it.
I received a copy of this deck to review. Compensation was provided for my time. I do not get paid if you purchase this deck. All opinions are my own honest thoughts.
(It was released on November 16th, 2021 and is !)
Once I received the deck, my first thought was how I love the tin container it comes in.
Rather than a cardboard box that can get banged up pretty easily, this deck comes in a sturdy little container, which serves its purpose well.
This deck is small and can fit in your purse, book bag, or any travel carrier. It’s perfect to keep with you on the go, and like I called it earlier, it really is a perfect mystical companion.
This functional little Tarot tin carries not only the 78 cards, but also a whole guidebook.
I have the guidebook that comes with the regular sized deck, and this mini guidebook is the exact same, good quality guidebook, just mini.
That part really impressed me.
The cards of this deck are the updated version of The Wild Unknown Tarot, and they fit so perfectly in my small hands.
They’re not too small that the artwork gets lost, which I find to be very important.
In fact, I think these cards are great for anyone who wants to begin using Tarot.
The Pocket Tarot Deck & Guidebook is a great little kit that you can bring with you wherever you go, to help you answer questions that arise on your journey.
It’s also a perfect gift to give to someone who’s interested in all things mystical.
Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with The Wild Unknown’s Pocket Tarot Deck & Guidebook. I’ve already begun to use it and you can see it in my posts featured on my social media.
It’s now available through , Amazon, The Wild Unknown, and other book retailers.
If you get this deck, please tag me on Instagram with the first card you pull for yourself!
Oh, and here’s a comparison of The Wild Unknown Pocket Deck next to the original version of The Wild Unknown so you can see the size difference.
I love The Wild Unknown Tarot deck. I got my deck in January of ’21. Seeing the beautiful artwork while receiving your wonderful guidance really puts a bow on top.
I love the Wild Unknown too and I don’t agree when some readers say this is not a deck for beginners. This was my first deck as a beginner and I learned tarot so well thanks to it. I love it’s deep, animal energy that is also, so gentle. Definitely recommend this book to everyone 🙂
